Wheels 2015 – South Miami
Join BikeSafe on Saturday, November 14th for Wheels in South Miami. Wheels, which aims to reach 10000 people from Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties, is a weeklong event celebrating the use of bicycles and transit as means of moving around the city. With activities planned from Wednesday, November 11 to Sunday, November 15, Wheels will have something for everyone.
On Saturday at 1pm, the BikeSafe Bike Rodeo will encourage kids to practice their bike handling skills and safety knowledge in a safe and controlled setting. Bring your child, their bike, and a helmet and your child will get a chance to improve their safety knowledge while having some fun on their bike!
Also, the Bike Rodeo will serve as excellent practice for any kids who want to take part in the Wheels Kidical Mass Ride leaving from the site of the Bike Rodeo. Kids can practice their safety skills with BikeSafe and then they can take part in a bike ride through the beautiful South Miami neighborhood with other kids and families.
