A paper is forthcoming with details of recommendations.This week, Dr. Hotz, Director of the UConcussion Program, participated in the two-day Concussion Conference hosted by the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and the NFL. The conference, known as T.E.A.M.: “Targeted Evaluation and Active Management,” focused on treatment for concussions, resulting in all experts agreeing that “concussion is treatable.

“[I]t is great that we can all come together and agree on important treatment variables,” says Dr. Hotz of the conference and the gradual evolution of concussion treatment protocols.
